Mental Health
Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA). Our two-day course teaches adults how to assist adolescents who are developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

Course participants will learn about adolescent development and the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems. This course informs participants where and how to get help for a young person who is considered to be at risk of developing a mental illness. We also discuss what kind of 'help' is effective, and how to provide first aid in a crisis situation.

All course participants receive a copy of the Youth Mental Health First Aid Manual and a Certificate of Completion.
